Stuffed Pepper Bowl
Seasoned rice, savory ground beef, sweet peppers and tomato-forward comfort-food goodness, finished with melty cheese.
Core bowlBowlworks is built around one very complicated culinary philosophy: put good hot food over seasoned rice, add the right toppings, and get it into hungry hands without making lunch a whole production.
The standard issue. Enough lunch to make the next few hours significantly less offensive.
The larger bowl for people who looked at the Shovel Bowl and thought, “Those numbers could be bigger.”
The idea started with factory-shift food: warm, filling, repeatable meals that can be assembled fast, travel well, and don't require a 47-item menu or a culinary identity crisis.
Bowlworks is in the deliciously unofficial stage: recipes are being tested, portions are being argued about, and the Hot Scoop roster is still earning its keep.
If you're in the Fox Valley and would happily provide strong opinions in exchange for experimental bowls, you're exactly the kind of person this thing needs.
